On November 12, 2019, Marcin Swiecicki, Business Ombudsman and Ruslan Riaboshapka, Prosecutor General signed a Memorandum of Partnership and Cooperation between the Business Ombudsman Council and the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine. The Memorandum is aimed at preventing government agencies malpractice, working to resolve systemic business issues and formalize a permanent cooperation at expert groups level. Read the Memorandum.

On September 11, 2017, The Business Ombudsman Algirdas Semeta and the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) Vasyl Gritsak signed the Memorandum of partnership. The purpose of the Memorandum is to improve the cooperation between the Business Ombudsman Council (BOC) and the SSU when dealing with complaints from the business. The Memorandum calls for an expert group to be established to consider specific complaints against the SSU actions and its regional divisions, collaborate in legislation improvement, track and counter violations of the officials. On September 22, 2016, The Business Ombudsman Council signed a Memorandum of Cooperation and Partnership with National Agency on Corruption Prevention. The Memorandum is the basis for cooperation between institutions to identify and eliminate corruption risks. On September 7, 2016, The Business Ombudsman Council signed a Memorandum of Cooperation and Partnership with National Police of Ukraine. The Memorandum calls for an expert group to be established to review complaints from business about the actions of the National Police and its local subdivisions. On July 14, 2016, The Business Ombudsman Council signed a Memorandum of Cooperation and Partnership with the Kyiv City State Administration (KMDA). The purpose of the Memorandum is to improve collaboration between the KMDA and companies operating in the capital. KMDA and the BOC will review specific complaints against the work of the KMDA and its subordinate units, and will cooperate to improve legislation governing business activities and remove barriers that inhibit doing business in Kyiv. On June 07, 2016, The Business Ombudsman Council signed a Memorandum of Cooperation and Information Exchange with the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources with the aim of improving collaboration between government agencies and private enterprises operating in the sphere of environmental protection. On 27 January, 2016, Artem Sytnyk, Director of the National Anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine, and Algirdas Šemeta, Business Ombudsman, signed a Memorandum on Partnership and Cooperation. The bodies plan to cooperate in identifying and eliminating the reasons causing criminal offences, providing recommendations to state and municipal authorities to improve anti-corruption legislation, as well as organizing public events on relevant issues. On September 15, 2015, Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko and Business Ombudsman Algirdas Šemeta signed a Memorandum on Partnership and Cooperation.
The two sides plan to cooperate in providing recommendations to departments that are part of the Ministry, as well as to public and municipal authorities with the aim of simplifying conditions for doing business and preventing corruption. They will cooperate in preparing proposals for improving legislation on the enforcement of court decisions, the state registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, the state registration of rights to movable and immovable property, bankruptcy, the use of electronic signatures, and other issues that fall within the purview of the Ministry. In addition, the two sides will work towards identifying and eliminating provisions in legislation that restrict business activity, and monitoring violations of business interests by government officials.
