Business Ombudsman Visits Poltava

On February 15, Algirdas Semeta visited Poltava, which is now the 20th oblast he has visited as part of his regional working visits series. As of February 01, 2017, the BOC received 35 complaints from Poltava entrepreneurs and successfully resolved 17 of them with direct financial impact of over UAH 65 mln. The majority of complaints was regarding the actions of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine and local municipalities.  
Mr. Semeta met with the leaders of Regional State Administration, where he discussed investment climate of the region and issues related to entrepreneurship that need to be considered at the state level. Business Ombudsman also attended the bread-baking plant “Kulynichi” (supplier of bread and flour products).  
This visit to Poltava is part of the Business Ombudsman’s regional working visits series designed for Mr. Semeta to meet with government representatives and business to discuss current problems and opportunities to expand investment potential of the regions. He has already visited Vinnytsia, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Luhansk, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Odesa, Rivne, Volyn, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Ternopil, Zakarpattia, Chernivtsi, Khmelnytsky, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia Oblasts.
