The Business Ombudsman Council announces a survey on prosecutorial activity Standards effect in the investment protection area during the pre-trial investigation.
The relevant standards were approved by the Prosecutor General in early 2022. The Business Ombudsman Council supported their signing, then, because introduction of standards is in line with the Council’s two systemic recommendations in the field of combating abuses and law enforcers pressure on business.
The obtained answers will allow us to better understand how the introduction of prosecutorial activity Standards in the investment protection area during pre-trial investigation has affected the Prosecutor’s Offices work and the ability of the business environment to counteract illegal abuses by law enforcement bodies.
