VACANCY: Communications Assistant

Job Title:      Communications Assistant
Location:    Business Ombudsman Council (Kiev, Ukraine)
Reports to:    Communications Coordinator 
JOB DESCRIPTION
•    Research material for, write and edit a variety of communications materials including presentations, press releases and outreach materials;
•    Contribute to the planning, design, regular administration, maintenance, monitoring and updating of information on BOC’s website and institution’s pages in social media;
•    Prepare statistics for Quarterly and Annual Reports; 
•    Provide support and assistance in the organization of events, meetings, presentations and other activities;
•    Provide communications support for response to media inquiries as requested by CCO;
•    Liaise as required with graphic designers, printers, photographers, translators, and others to support the production of publications.
Skills/Experience Required
•    University degree or equivalent;
•    At least two years of relevant experience (preferably design and SMM functions);
•    Excellent written and verbal command of the English, Ukrainian and Russian language;
•    Excellent communication skills, including pleasant and efficient phone manner; 
•    Attention to detail and eye for accuracy;
•    Excellent organization skills;
•    Ability to work on own initiative on a daily basis (and seek guidance when necessary);
•    Computer literate: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, Crello.

•    Ability to cope well under pressure and a capacity for hard work; 
•    Ability to work efficiently and cheerfully as part of a team; 
•    Reliable, flexible and willing to work overtime as and when required;
•    Exhibits a high degree of personal integrity and loyalty;  
•    Excellent interpersonal manner, including tact and diplomacy;
•    Important to be a quick learner and a team player.
