The Business Ombudsman Council is strengthening its communication team and is looking for a Communications Assistant.
Job Description
Communication support:
• Research and edit a variety of communication and outreach materials of BOC;
• Contribute to the planning, design, regular administration, maintenance, monitoring and updating of information on BOC’s website and institution’s pages in social media;
• Contributing to BOC Quarterly and Annual Reports preparation;
• Writing case studies about BOC investigations;
• Provide support and assistance in the organization of events, meetings, presentations and other activities;
• Provide communications support for response to media inquiries;
• Liaise with graphic designers, photographers, translators, and other staff to support the production of publications and communication materials.
Skills/Experience Required:
• University degree in public relations, marketing, journalism, or a related field;
• At least two years of relevant experience;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Excellent written and verbal command of the Ukrainian and English;
• Understanding of digital communication trends;
• Experience with graphic design (creation of infographics, pictures and use of such applications as Canva, Crello etc.). Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud would be an asset;
• Organizational skills;
• Computer literate: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Attention to detail and eye for accuracy;
• Ability to learn quickly.
