The Ternopil Regional State Administration, represented by its Head, Vyacheslav Nehoda, has joined the Declaration of Fair and Reasonable Administration, developed by the Business Ombudsman Council (BOC). This makes it the first regional administration in Ukraine to support this initiative. The event marks a significant step in strengthening the partnership between the regional government and the business community, aiming to ensure transparency, openness, and fairness in their relations.
The Declaration outlines key principles of state-business interaction, including the presumption of good faith, rationality and clarity of decisions for businesses, effective administrative appeals, and others.
As a reminder, the Chortkiv City Council of Ternopil Oblast had previously joined the Declaration, becoming the first local government body to support the transition from outdated governance practices to developing a culture of mutual dialogue.
“We strive to create conditions where businesses feel protected and have trust in state institutions. This is exactly why the Declaration of Fair and Reasonable Administration was developed. Its implementation will help build partnership relations between local authorities and businesses in the Ternopil region and, I am convinced, will promote entrepreneurship development in the region,” said the Business Ombudsman Roman Waschuk.
Joining the Declaration serves as an example for other cities and regions seeking to improve their business climate and achieve economic recovery.
