Invitation for the round table “Activities of the financial investigation bodies of the tax police of Ukraine in the context of reforming”

Business Ombudsman Council would like to invite you to the round table “Activities of the financial investigation bodies of the tax police of Ukraine in the context of reforming” which will be jointly held with Національна асоціація адвокатів України /Ukrainian National Bar Association.
The event will take place on July 28 at 1 p.m. in the online format.
Among the speakers are:
Serhii Solodchenko, Acting Head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine
Dmytro Yurovskyi, Advisor to Head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine
Oleksiy Spivak, investigator of the Business Ombudsman Council
In particular, during the round table Oleksiy will speak on:
• Business Ombudsman Council and its support for business in case of issues with the tax police and other law enforcement bodies
• Special aspects of the BOC experience in considering complaints from business in criminal proceedings in the tax sphere
• Systemic recommendations of the Council on ceasing of malpractice episodes of state bodies in relation to the business
• Establishing a common body on investigation of crimes in economic and tax spheres. The BOC position and proposals.
• Advice for business and attorneys on lodging complaints about actions or inactivity of law enforcement bodies
