Addressing Real Challenges: The First Business Community Meeting with the Business Ombudsman Council in a New Format

To mark its 11th anniversary, the Business Ombudsman Council has launched a series of open meetings with the Ukrainian business community. The first event took place today at the Council’s office and brought together entrepreneurs who are members of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI).

The discussion focused on the challenges businesses are currently facing, including interactions with public authorities, tax and customs issues, pressure from law enforcement agencies, regulatory barriers, and other obstacles affecting companies operating under wartime conditions.

The meeting was attended by Business Ombudsman Anka Feldhusen and Deputy Business Ombudsmen Tetiana Korotka and Yulia Andrusiv. For the Council’s team, such meetings provide an opportunity to hear directly from entrepreneurs, better understand emerging trends, and identify areas where the Council’s intervention, within its mandate, can be most effective and valuable.

Over the past 11 years, the Business Ombudsman Council has helped thousands of companies protect their rights in dealings with government authorities. However, the best solutions emerge through dialogue. That is why these meetings will become a regular platform for discussing business challenges and exploring ways to address them.

We would like to thank the representatives of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for their openness, constructive discussion, and willingness to share their experience.
