An agricultural company contacted the Business Ombudsman Council over the non-acceptance of its VAT taxpayer data table. Before the full-scale invasion, the company had an accepted data table. However, after the area was liberated from occupation and the company resumed operations, this decision was cancelled.
The Council took the complaint into work and repeatedly discussed the company’s issue with the regional STS. The case was also brought before the Expert Group with the STS three times. During the review, the STS indicated what additional explanations and documents were needed to make a decision. The company provided evidence confirming the use of land plots, the availability and suitability of its warehouse, remaining stocks of agricultural products, and transactions related to their sale. The Business Ombudsman submitted these materials to the STS and supported the further review of the complaint.
As a result, the BOC managed to persuade both the regional and central STS bodies to accept the data table. The company’s complaint was upheld, and the decision not to accept the data table was cancelled.
